I gave you a little peak at my Thanksgiving Banner last Sunday. You can check it out here. This has been a step-by-step, learning project. When the individual banner pennant wasn’t looking right, I’d just sit back and contemplate what it “should look like”, and what to do so I could be comfortable with the final look. I still need to put some Autumn Wooden Elements on some banner pennants as well as the dangling ribbons. But not today!
I started out with a 5″ x 7″ pattern piece. Cut out a piece of scrap paper to those dimensions. Then across one of the 5″ ends, make a tick mark at 2-1/2″. Draw a line from the tick mark to each corner, about 7″ away. Trim off those pieces and you’ll have your pattern.
Click here for the rest of the tutorial. As well as step-by-step instructions, there are close-up photos of each of the pennants.
Enjoy the tutorial and thanks so much for stopping by today. It’s always great when you do. See you again tomorrow.
