For the second of my monthly stampin’ class, Fun with Vellum, I wanted to use the ‘stained glass technique’ and I wanted to keep the card simple. My stamping friend Connie from Ohio shared a card a few weeks ago with just the perfect layout so it was my inspiration. The upper, patterned part of the card is placed on an angle which leaves plenty of space for the greeting and an embellishment.
Until I have a certain person in mind for this card, I won’t be putting a greeting on it. But, there’s plenty of room for birthday, thank you, thinking of you, or ‘just because’ type sentiments.
This card, as well as the other two will be available via PDF, with full instructions, for $7.50 on Friday, February 20th. This is a new venture for me and I’m quite excited, and a bit nervous, about it.
I’ll post the third card from our Fun With Vellum class tomorrow. Warning: it’s a bit of a flashback and uses a retired Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. But the technique will live on forever. I look forward to seeing you then. In the meantime, thank you for visiting this afternoon and have a great evening. East Coast: I sure do wish warmth for you all.
