This is another card that I’ve cased from my Ohio stampin’ friend Mary Brown.  She has a style that really works for me.  Seemingly simple, not always so once you start trying to recreate it , but always clean and nice to look at.

I can’t tell you exactly what it is that struck me about this card but I like it.  Maybe the bright, crisp colors.  Maybe the fun triangles.  Maybe the fresh and sassy little HI.  Maybe because it’s so uncluttered.  Anyway I like it and we’ll be making it at the Mi Wuk Library this coming Thursday.

Geometrical, 133158-w, 133161-C, Label Card Thinlits Dies,

HI card, closeup

Close up HI. See the Rhinestones?

TIP:   When it comes to placing the triangles: (1) use Dimensionals; (2) lay them out first so you can be sure the distance from the edge of the card is equal for those pointing UP and those pointing DOWN.

I really like this Geometrical Stamp Set.  One rather unexpected pleasure from it:  Using either one of the arrows on the back of my card as a place where I put my (hand-stamped) signature.

If you want (need) any of the supplies used for this fresh card, just click HERE to go right to my Stampin’ Up! store.  Or you can call or email me and I’ll place the order for you.

Finally, if you live in the Sonora CA area and would like to join us at the Mi Wuk Library on the 3rd Thursday of every month (except July), come on up.  We’re about 14 miles north east of Sonora just off of Hwy 108 by the Ranger Station and the Post Office.  You only need to bring an open, fun attitude and $3.00.  All supplies provided for the two cards we make.

Finally finally, don’t forget to sign up for my mailing list if you haven’t yet.  I’m switching email services for my newsletter so you need to sign up for the new one.

See you tomorrow.   Thanks for being here today.

Pot o' shamrocks

These shamrocks are rumored to multiply as they are picked, so there’s a shamrock for each of you!
