This is another card that I’ve cased from my Ohio stampin’ friend Mary Brown. She has a style that really works for me. Seemingly simple, not always so once you start trying to recreate it , but always clean and nice to look at.
I can’t tell you exactly what it is that struck me about this card but I like it. Maybe the bright, crisp colors. Maybe the fun triangles. Maybe the fresh and sassy little HI. Maybe because it’s so uncluttered. Anyway I like it and we’ll be making it at the Mi Wuk Library this coming Thursday.
TIP: When it comes to placing the triangles: (1) use Dimensionals; (2) lay them out first so you can be sure the distance from the edge of the card is equal for those pointing UP and those pointing DOWN.

I really like this Geometrical Stamp Set. One rather unexpected pleasure from it: Using either one of the arrows on the back of my card as a place where I put my (hand-stamped) signature.
