TOTALLY DIFFERENT LOOK FOR A BOTANICAL BLOOM BIRTHDAY CARD

I received today’s striking card, from my sister, for my January birthday.  (Thanks to stamper Mary Brown for her inspiration.)  I’ll call this look #1 for a Botanical Bloom card.  By the way, you know you can change up the greeting to quickly have a card for another purpose.

Basic pieces:

  • card front: Whisper White Thick card stock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded
  • first layer:  Basic Black card stock: 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″
  • top layer:  Whisper White card stock: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
  • Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
  • Botanical Builder Framelits, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform
  • scraps of Silver Glimmer Paper, vellum, Basic Black and Basic Gray card stocks
  • Botanical Garden Jewels
  • Silver 1/8″ ribbon

After you get done looking at the ‘stark stunningness’ of this card, it’s really fairly easy to put together. Cut out all of your basic pieces. Run the appropriate ones through the Big Shot and then start layering. You’ll be real proud of yourself!
