Wood Crate Framelits – One of My Favorite Picks from the 2017-2018 SU! Catalog

May 9, 2017

I can’t say enough about the fun you’re going to have with the new Wood Crate Framelits you’ll find in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  Surely you’re well aware by now that it’s coming soon.  June 1st to be exact.

Let’s start from the ‘back side’:  the last day to order from the current awesome 2016-2017 Annual Catalog as well as the also awesome 2017 Occasions Catalog is May 31st.  You can click on the retiring list here.  It includes everything that’s retiring plus those items whose price is reduced – some by up to 60% – during the retiring sales.  Availability changes daily so if you see something you’re interested in adding to your stamping tool bin check it out a.s.a.p.  If you don’t get a response when you order the desired item that’s because it’s out of stock.  Stamp sets will continue to be manufactured until May 22nd.

Now to share one of my favorite items in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog:  the Wood Crate Framelits.

I made these table favors last week for our local Fire Auxiliary’s annual fundraiser fashion show.  My table mates loved them!

You can also use regular Stampin’ Up! card stock for your oh-so-cute crates made from the Wood Crate Framelits.

My next Wood Crate Framelits post will be a hand-stamped (of course) card for someone special.  I saw one at OnStage in April and thought “wow”, how veratile and how cute.  It’ll be about a week before you see it however.  My life is extra-slammed right now with local obligations–like the beginning of “inspection season” for defensible space (from wildfires) around one’s property.  I’m a volunteer inspector by choice but it does cut into my stampin’ time.  Like all things, I’ll adjust soon.
