Pedal Pusher

March 7, 2016

I hope you had as much fun this past weekend as I did!  I spend all day Sunday learning the how-tos for iMovie.  Then I implemented my new learning.  As soon as I get a few videos under my belt, I’ll post the information so you can check them out.  I’m really excited.  You don’t know how long this has been in my mind but let’s says it’s in years.  The perfectionist in me wouldn’t let me do it until I could do it right.

Now, in the meantime, there’s always time for crafting.  My goal for March is to use sets that I’ve purchased, or received FREE from Sale-a-Bration and not yet used.  Today’s winner is Pedal Pusher.  I think I’m a sucker for bikes and things with wheels that allow us to be a bit carefree with the breeze blowing in our faces.

This fun stamp set is available FREE with the purchase of $50 in Stampin’ Up! product until March 31, 2016.  Don’t miss out.  You can order through me personally (email or phone–in blog header above) or via my online stampin’ store here.

Here the first light and springy card that came out of my head this morning:

Here is a ‘funny’ or ‘dummy’ that I did along the steps of creating the card:

Can you see what I did in the upper photo?  I placed the photopolymer bird stamp on the clear block upsidedown! Duh!

This is how the poor little thing should have been stamped.  What a funny feeling it was when it just went thud!  🙂

These are most of the supplies I used.  The clear blocks are A, G and H.  Card stock is Tempting Turquoise (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. scored at 4-1/4″ and folded), Basic Black (5-1/4″ x 4″) and Whisper White (5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″).

I’m looking forward now to seeing what as-yet-unused stamp sets you use and share with us!  I had fun with my card today and I plan to have another one to share tomorrow.
