Did you miss sending a few (or maybe many) Christmas cards? I know I did. I also wanted to send special cards to the families who hosted me in France and Germany during my trip there in November, along with some digital Project Life (it’s an app) scrapbook pages. My pages are finally done and ready for mailing, along with this card:
I love the bright little bird sitting on the snowy branches:
I thought I wanted to use cool silver 2-0-1-6 numbers but they just didn’t offer the pizzazz I was hoping for. So I changed to the Red Glimmer Paper instead. I love the way it pops!
The Rhinestone Jewels are colored with a red sharpie marker before being attached to the piece of White Vellum Cardstock that supports the glittery numbers. The vellum is attached with thin lines of Multipurpose Liquid Glue that is positioned under the numbers so it can’t be seen.
If you have any questions about how to create this card, please send me an email or add a comment below and I’ll answer it just as soon as possible. You have plenty of time to make this card for sending out, welcoming the New Year, in the first few weeks of 2016.
