Above the Clouds

August 1, 2019

Our second ‘teenager’ card used the Above the Clouds stamp set, and seeing the greetings these kids chose for their cards leads me to believe there is a good future ahead with this generation.

This was my sample card:

Again, I loved how they just took creativity by the hand and went off with their own interpretations of the sample card.  They loved the coordinating punch and the new-to-them use of Dimensionals.  I was especially impressed with the thoughtfulness that went into their choice of the greetings in the stamp set.  I underestimated their sensitivity.

I’d love it if you could remind me of the movie that has recently come out with the clown and the red balloon.  Kaya popped the image up on her phone and quickly sketched, with a pencil, the clown and its frilly collar.  Then she colored it over using a Basic Black Stampin’ Marker.

Inside…an image esoteric to the movie.  There’s a connection between the character in yellow and the red balloon above its head.

The group was far higher above the clouds than I had dared to imagine they would be.  LOVE IT and LOVE THEM!!
